History
With the highest concentration of leading medical schools in the U.S., Chicago has an unmatched concentration of anatomical expertise. Growing demand for expertise in teaching, dissection, and demonstration of human anatomy led to the formation of Anatomical Consulting Services in 2018.

Callum F. Ross, Ph.D.
Dr. Callum F. Ross received his Ph.D. in Biological Anthropology & Anatomy from Duke University in 1993, held postdoctoral positions at the University of the Witwatersrand and Stony Brook University, NY. before joining the faculty in Anatomical Sciences at Stony Brook in 1995. In 2004 he joined the Department of Organismal Biology and Anatomy at the University of Chicago, where he is currently Professor. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois since 2005, where he is currently President of the Board. His NSF- and NIH-funded research focuses on evolution and neural control of musculoskeletal systems.
